From a poem I'm supposed to write for a contest I'm in. Course, it's supposed to be submitted and accepted by the 20th, so I doubt it's gonna happen. Oh well, it was just a bonus one anyways. I'll just write three extra poems to make up for it. So that makes a total of...fifteen extra poems I'll have to write *headdesk*

See, this is a year long contest, and each regular poem is worth one point. Each bonus poem is worth three. This pains me. I just joined a bit over a month ago. *sigh*

I'm just having issues with the prompt. It's supposed to be a poem that "mentions a known historical event of the struggle of the people for a better tomorrow and, moreover, is about that struggle." I came up with the Manson murders and the crucifixion. I fail.

Feel free to chip in, if you'd like.
